I am currently working on a collection of poetry which will be called "From There to Here" and is roughly the story of my life in poetry.

Usually a picture appears in my head; it could be a small boy in a window seat, reading, or a man on the beach, wrapped up against the cold. It could be anything but it always leads to a story.

The idea came after some years of writing short stories - I realised they were all set in the same place - at the sea in a small town, so I worked on them all and linked them so the book is all of a piece with the stories interlinked.
