Indy Perro Art museums give me a shot of the truth juice. Whenever I'm in an art museum, I feel as though there are others who get "it," and I mean "it" as a category, a way of being, a way of touching the world and being touched by the world.

Great films can touch this nerve in me as well. I leave an art museum or a great movie feeling buzzed, feeling like the creativity of others became a part of me for a while, and I a part of that creativity, and I left satisfied.

I'm wiping the sweat from my brow just thinking about it.
Indy Perro I'm currently working on the sequel to Central City and a stand alone novel that takes place in Central City in the year 2070.
Indy Perro I write the most honest sentence I can about the idea behind whatever I'm writing. Then, I think about the relationship between that sentence and the scene. I might need to get away from the desk for a run or walk to let my thoughts congeal, but I'll begin to see the hindrance.

If the blockage is rooted in life or pressure, I may need to spend a day outdoors, reading, or at a museum to refill my creative coffers.
