I love to connect with my readers on social media. Instagram is one of my favorite platforms to engage with readers because I feel like we get to know each other better there. Some of my first readers have become some of my closest friends thanks to social media.

For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a writer. I started writing books, poetry, and even songs when I was little. I thought writers were famous people so I never in my wildest dreams thought it was something I would be able to do. Now I'm living that dream writing romance novels.

I put words on paper. It doesn't matter whether they're good or not, I just write them. If I'm really blocked, I find a hot guy on social media and just start writing about him. I'll just describe him in detail, and then write about what I think he's like. It's a fun way to discover a new romantic interest for my characters.

Start. If you are called to write, be brave and answer the call. So many aspiring writers never start because the fear of failure is too big. There is an audience for your book, you just have to write it, and then find your readers.

I'm working on the I'm Yours series which revolve around a group of friends. They can be read as a stand alone or in order. Each book has features a different couple from a friend group. I love this series because the characters are so rich and often unconventional.

I am a routine driven person. I write 2k or more words every day. Before Inevitable, I wrote nonfiction exclusively so I was already in that habit. Some days my writing is on fire and other days it's lukewarm at best. No matter what, though, I'm pounding the keys because even if what I write that day isn't all that great, something great may come from that idea.

I got the idea for the I'm Yours series when I started writing Hush. Initially, it was just going to be the one book, but I fell in love with the secondary characters. I just had to know their stories too.
