Hi Luna;
Thank you so much for the lovely comments and the review - very much appreciated and I'm so glad my little story put a smile on your face. What inspired it? God knows! A combination of always feeling I was being victimised whenever I, say, dropped a coin or something else small and it would always immediately roll to the most inaccessible point, or whenever I used the vacuum cleaner the cord would snag etc etc - then I sort of realised everyone feels this way! The rest of the story came to me while I was travelling (backpacking obviously) many years ago and worked for a few months at a tiny pub in the middle of the Cotswolds in England. It was basically deserted so I had lots of time to myself, so just started writing and it all kind of blurted out! I've refined it over the last few years and finally put it out there a couple of months ago. Again, thank you for your comments - not everyone gets that brand of humour, but you obviously do! Cheers, Tom. P.S. I've just refreshed it online last weekend with a bit of an expanded (and better/sillier) scene of when Practice re-meets the 4 horsemen in Paris.
