I have always been an addictive reader: if I have even five minutes, and there is any text around of any kind (magazine, pop can, cereal box), invariably I will read it. Have participated in physician forums for hours each day, and finally, when my favorite forum closed, I thought, "Wow, I've been wasting a lot of time and effort there. There has to be a more productive venue for my writing."
