As I've gotten older I find I don't get "blocked" so much as I end up with "predicaments". As I work my way through drafts things will change and I have to be careful not to retcon things!
Some people say that inspiration comes in the bath, I find this to be partially true, I'll sprint out of the shower, shampoo still in my hair to scribble down an idea. Or the thought will come to me when I'm JUST about to fall asleep. Really whenever its most inconvenient.
But if I'm struggling, I find it helpful to consume other media, books, movies, youtube talks about writing, usually something in there, a visual or a quote will kickstart my brain and send it down the rabbit hole.

Book 2 of my Ruined World series has been sent to my beta reader! So in the mean time I'm doing research for book 3. Once I have the beta edits back I'll work through those and it'll go off to my content editor and sensitivity readers!
