Go on a walk, go for a bike ride or swim - let your mind relax and it will work through the issues subconsciously. I find when I am tired, writer's block is more prevalent, so getting sufficient rest is a must for prevention.

I have always enjoyed writing and have written many technical papers throughout my college and professional career. The Halloween Gang - A Halloween to Remember is my first fictional piece and was admittedly much more enjoyable to write than all previous pieces.

I have always loved Halloween - as a kid trick-or-treating and as an adult hosting and attending costume parties. Virtually all Halloween themed stories are scary or gory and I felt there was a real niche to be filled with a story about the fun and funny aspects of Halloween, more specifically, trick-or-treating.
