Claudine Marcin Great question, Jayson! I would say never give up and stay true to yourself. Every author has their own style and voice and that's what makes reading so interesting. They are many similar storylines told by unique voices. I would also suggest connecting with other authors. There's a lot to learn and these are the best people to learn from.

I am halfway through your book. The characters are interesting. The question is about "real life" time versus "book" time. It seems that the summit days were full days in real life, but the book has maybe 10-15 mins of activity/dialog during each day. Was that intentional?
Claudine Marcin Hi MK. You're correct and yes, it was intentional. While they would've met for full days, I did not cover the entirety of each day - only the highlights.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Claudine Marcin Being in control. So much in life is outside of our control but when you are writing the story you can take it in any direction you can imagine.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Claudine Marcin Don't let anyone trample on your dream. If you have stories to tell, write them down.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Claudine Marcin I just wait it out. Do something else and it will come. Sometimes I'm blocked on a certain part of a story so in that case, I just work around it until I figure it out.

What are you currently working on?
Claudine Marcin I'm currently working on the second book in The Glory Box series called The Children of Autumn. Each book in the series is themed after a season...next will come Summer then Spring.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Claudine Marcin It started as the the love affair between the two main characters and then I built a world around them.
