Amelia Lemar I typically have a couple different projects going at one time. That way, when I am having a little writer's block on a project, I can focus my time and energy on an other one. This usually gives my brain a bit of a rest from the previous project to allow myself to reset and refocus on it again in a couple days.
Amelia Lemar Regardless of how motivated you are to finish your work and share it with the world, set deadlines for yourself. Give yourself check points in which you want to have a certain amount of your work completed. This keeps you moving forward through the "slow" parts.
Amelia Lemar I am currently preparing to release the first book in a new fiction children children's series shares the important jobs and lives of various types of service dogs. The series is called "Maverick."
I am also working on a middle-level fiction novel that takes place in a dystopian society.
Amelia Lemar "It's Okay: The 8 Things All Children Need to Hear" was inspired by a conversation I had with a student at one point in time. This conversation is shared in chapter 3. It opened my eyes and have me a "light-bulb moment" to how little my students have ever been taught about appreciating themselves.
