I have always been fascinated by the paranormal, and I enjoy reading about native American spirits, healers, and shamans. Yet lately, I was more focused on ghosts and nature spirits but, before writing my third book, my good friend kept telling me about this short story he was reading on Roanoke Island with a native American twist. I guess it got me back into native American tales as I started reading some short stories on it.

I just released the prequel for my new book series Delsin Chronicles:
Delsin’s meteoric rise as a demon hunter was not intended. He was just incredibly efficient and effective because he was also a warlock. A request from a small village came with a promise to pay a healthy sum for his services. The mayor described the presence of something evil that was preying on his people, doing a range of things from apparently innocuous, such as sowing discord, to actual possession. The mayor himself claimed to have witnessed something demonic influencing the nobles of the village. To Delsin, it was just another job.
Until he arrived and something familiar nudged at his subconscious.
There was a very specific reason why he had become a demon hunter, and now he was standing face-to-face with her. All of those years of hunting – this is what they were really about. For more than a decade, his memories of their friendship and love had driven him to hunt for her. Now that he had found her, Delsin wasn’t sure what he should do.
