There's no such thing as an "aspiring" writer. If you're writing and creating written works, you're a writer. Is someone who creates beautiful pieces of art not an artist until their work is sold commercially or featured in galleries?
If you're not writing, then you're not a writer and don't want to be one badly enough to be called "aspiring."
My advice for those who want to be a writer is to start writing, and a writer you will be. In this day of print-on-demand self-publishing, taking action is the only thing that stands in your way.

At the moment, I'm hard at work on book two in the Gods of Deceit series as well as short story that I'm hoping to see published next summer! On top of that, I'm chipping away at a book idea that may be the start of another series. We'll see!
