Ooh, this is a really good one! And first thing in the morning, it made my brain work harder than usual. I had a relative-not specifying who-when, after she died, the family discovered she had a daughter no one knew about in another country. That would make for a great story, having my mc go on a high school trip to this country, 'bumping into' the unknown daughter and taking things from there. There are a lot of directions the story could take. Hmm, it sounds like a great story idea for my next novel. Thanks for the question.

It seemed to be always there, just under the surface and I guess I finally started putting it to paper. As I'm writing it though, it's gotten darker than I had initially intended it to, so we'll see where it goes!

From reading books that drew me in and stayed with me long after I finished them. I had ideas floating around my head while running, imagining the scenery around me was part of the setting in my book. Then the story just took off!

A YA contemporary which is told from two POVs, something new for me. It is still titleless, but I'm about 32k words in right now.

If you have a story idea, jot it down. Even if it's not complete or the writing isn't perfect, just get the idea down. Then go from there, expanding the story, adding to the characters, the setting, developing the plot.

Being able to create a world from my imagination, my experiences, my deepest wishes. It's a world entirely created by me

Put my WIP away and give it some thought on my next run. Usually that's where all my story ideas come from anyway, when I'm on my daily runs. Walking seems to help, also. I think there's something about movement and being outdoors that's inspirational.

Harry Potter's world, particularly Hogwarts Castle. I'd just like to explore, experience the 'magical world'.

I have a huge pile on my nightstand! I am currently reading The Brothers Finn by Christina Hagmann. Next is The Cousins by Karen Mc Manus, Our Friendship Matters, by Kimberley Jones, and I also have some ARCs to read for fellow authors.
