Start writing. I am still an aspiring writer. I will be for a long time. But you can never become a writer if you don't start writing something! Like anything else, the more you practice, the better you get.

Creating something that is entirely your own. I get to take the best parts of stories I love (which will hopefully be less obviously derivative over time) and combine them with my own imagination. It's like being a kid in my backyard all over again.

I read. A lot. My inspiration comes from many of the other works I have read over recent years. Whether a story did something so well and I want to try my hand at it, or did something I didn't necessarily agree with and want to try and do differently, I can always find a path through a slump in a good story.

I am constantly excited to share what I have created with as many people as possible. It's genuinely fun to create new characters and worlds, and I want to give anyone who gives my stories a chance something to talk about at the very least.
