Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Cheryl Burman The idea for my Guardians trilogy came after the people of England rebelled against the idea that the government wanted to sell off our public forests. The government backed down and I wrote Guardians! My current book is for adults but is also inspired by where I live.
