Well, that's a one-sentence horror story, so I guess I either am an over-achiever or I completely failed.
Robin Castle Such a good question! Maybe the mystery of what happened to one branch of my family. They lived in Ireland, were deported to Canada, and from there, they disappear.
Robin Castle Keep writing. It sounds simple, but it works. It took me years to develop the confidence to show other people my work, but I kept writing and by doing so, improved. Writing always get easier with practice, or at least it has for me.

Also, read widely, read often, and read outside your preferred genres once in a while.
Robin Castle When I moved to Ireland nearly six years ago, I made a lot of mistakes. This book is both the story of those mistakes and also guidance and tips and cultural explanations for tourists and those moving to Ireland.
