Marci Brockmann Whether I'm writing fiction or non-fiction, I am always inspired to write pieces that will be of value or benefit to others and in which I can impart some of my life's hard-earned wisdom.

Marci Brockmann When I was a kid, I turned to writing and visual art to express myself and through that I found solace and healing.

I decided to write Permission to Land as a way of making sense out my relationship with my mother, it started as me digging my way out of my mother’s bipolarity and addiction to drugs.

But it quickly became me digging myself out of my own anxiety and addictions to people pleasing and apologizing for myself that were caused by my complicated relationship with my mother, and then making sense of my relationships with men, my marriages, and all the different facets of my life.
