Candra Kylar I would love to go to Baum's brilliant land of Oz to interact with all of the lively characters there. Something about following a yellow brick road to my dreams sounds completely fabulous!
Candra Kylar Keep writing, regardless of how you feel about the story or the characters, and never be afraid to treat a project as an exercise! I've scrapped plenty of stories that ended up being mediocre because they had no potential moving forward. Not a single one of those were a wasted effort. Each chance you get to write, get to express yourself on a page, is always worthwhile.
Candra Kylar I love that I have the ability to give a voice to my imagination. Often, ideas and daydreams stay in the head and never go beyond that. As a writer, I get to bring those ideas to life and share them with everyone.
Candra Kylar Inspiration is a tricky thing. I'd like to say that I found my inspiration on a hike in Oregon or a beautiful city skyline at night. I love to travel and find little bubbles of inspiration there but, in its entirety, I find that inspiration comes randomly. Sometimes I'll be out at the store or in a restaurant, or sitting on my couch at home listening to music. If I stop looking for it, inspiration comes organically.
Candra Kylar I'm currently writing the sequel to my first book in the Abigail Everlaine Mystery series! It's called "A Tale of Two Courts" and involves the world of vampires seeping into the town of Crestwood.
