Russell S. Watson I usually start with an outline. Since I mostly write nonfiction I can skip areas that stump me and work on others which may seem easier on that particular day. If I'm totally blocked I have plenty of chores and hobbies to attend to until the inspiration returns.

Russell S. Watson I'm pretty new at it to be giving advice. Some I've read has worked for me. I try to write at least a page or so a day. If I'm in the mood I continue past that. I plan on several rewrites so first time through I try to get the thoughts down. Later, in rewrites, I work on improving presentation.
Russell S. Watson I publish articles, have built a website, maintain an author's Facebook page, and am considering a blog. The next book I'm working on will cover living in a manufactured home park and enhancing, or - if need be - creating, the community within the park.
Russell S. Watson I got the idea from the hundreds of folks I have met in manufactured home parks. Over and over I heard from residents: "If I only knew what I know now when I was buying my home I would have made different choices".
