The universe I created, and am continuing to create for my series, Shadows of Peace. I would love to hang out with Taylor, Tonee, Salayla, Kaydeen, and Mason, and explore the world they live in.

Galaxy's Edge by Jason Anspach and Nick Cole. I started the series last fall and am currently working my way through the Savage War series.

I try to get away from the story for a while, by reading, listening to audiobooks, or watching shows or movies. If that doesn't help, I usually talk to a friend or family member about the scene I'm stuck on. Having a human sounding board often works very well to get my juices flowing.

Book three in the series, and the final installment in the opening trilogy. It will be called Tinaree - Tempered By Blood, and will conclude the events on Tinaree. But Taylor's story will be far from over.

Tinaree - Forged By Crucible is book two in my debut series Shadows of Peace. The series is an ongoing story that was too long to fit into a single book. Originally, I had planned to fit the events on Tinaree into a single book. However, as it so often goes, the characters had other ideas and Tinaree ended up a trilogy by itself.
The original idea for the story came to me in a dream in 2007. At first I had no intention to turn it into a story, but it refused to let me go. So, in 2008 I finally gave in and decided to write it down. Since I had never before attempted to write a story or novel, it took me a few years to figure out how to go about it. Learning the craft and the process of turning the story inside my head into a novel is not as simple as it sounds (at least not for me) and continues to be an ongoing process and journey.
