I am working on two different books now. One is a collection of stories from Peace Corps Volunteers who were evacuated on short notice due to Covid 19 (and at other times). The other is a fictional story with a theme of addiction - specifically online gambling addiction.

Much of my inspiration comes to me in Meditation. I was a Yoga Teacher for many years, and the practice of Meditation opened up new avenues for expression. When I am in a creative mode, ideas come naturally!

Two years ago, in 2018, my son was a Peace Corps volunteer in a rural village in Liberia, West Africa. I visited him and was struck by the way the people managed in a town with no running water, no electricity, and minimal access to the internet. When I returned from that trip, I thought about what would happen here if power and internet access went out worldwide. I wondered how it would affect us, as well as how it would affect a rural village in Africa which wasn’t connected to the power grid.
