(view spoiler)[Ms. Yates I read somewhere that you were going to write a book called Collide a follow up of Sidelined. Is this true?
Mandy appeared weak to me and I was left with bitter angry feelings. It appeared to me that you let Mandy become bff with the other woman and the pissant husband. I don't think the husband suffered at all nor was he remorseful and did not grovel. He did not suffer the consequences of his infidelity. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Hi Billie, I’m sorry I’m just now seeing this question a year later. Yes, it’s true. Collide was released October 2025. I love that my story invoked strong feelings for you. That’s a huge compliment to a writer. Mandy was not bffs with the other woman, Talina. Mandy was civil for the sake of her children, as so many mothers are in real life. The ex, Ryan, well, not all men are remorseful in fiction and in real life. However, Karma does find Ryan and you can read about that in Collide if you want to. Hey, Thanks for reading! ~ Nichole (hide spoiler)]

Hogwarts, hands down. What wouldn't I do there? That's the real question.

When I'm struggling with writer's block, I switch my focus to writing poetry. For me, it's not as daunting to come up with a couple of lines vs. the next chapter. I also like to take long drives or go on hikes to think about how the story should progress. If I'm still stuck, I binge read several books to find inspiration to keep writing.

I feel free when I write. I get to step inside my characters and live their lives for a moment. I get to say things I would never say in my real life. There's a little bit of me, my friends, and my family members peppered throughout my characters, but you'll only get a taste if you're truly in my inner circle. It's fun creating fictional characters and incorporating so much truth into their stories.
