Possibly. I had planned a prequel but at the moment other projects are ahead of it. So maybe.

So many different things trigger my writing. Sometimes it's something I see or hear, a lot of times my story ideas come to me as dreams. The idea is the easy part - sitting down to actually write can be more challenging though.

I've been asked this a few times! Growing up in Australia, I read books that were written in both US and UK English. When I began writing I made the decision to continue writing in UK (or Australia since many of my books contain local saying or speech quirks!) .
So why stay writing in UK English when more books are released in US English? Language is so much more than just a difference in spelling. Sentence structure, local phases and sayings, vocabulary differences....
I guess I find it easier to write in a language I know. Sometimes I see feedback about mispelt words, but I understand some readers have not had a lot of exposure to UK English :)

Sometimes I just need a break from writing. When I push hard for deadlines sometimes it overwhelms me and results in missed ones.
Other times though I switch to a different story. I have multiple in progress and finished requiring editing - so a change of story and tone can also help.
Plus chocolate. Chocolate always helps.

Good and Evil Magic came about with a combination of two things. The cover was a premade design that I had been intrigued with but had zero idea for. Months later I had a dream about that character and an angel and demon. Two days later the draft of Good and Evil Magic had been completed.

Currently I am flipping between 2 main stories.
Spells After Dark is a short story based in an academy that I am working on final edits for. I hope to release it next month.
Moonrise is a portal fantasy that I am currently tidying up before final edits - hopefully releasing about May.
