What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
James L. Rickard I'm working on it right now for a new book call Return of the Ant People. Last Winter I was shoveling my driveway and there was a small tunnel in the snow--sort of like it was bored by a mole or rat. The madness ensues.

Hi. I am new to Goodreads. My name is Gary Diamond, age 65, from the UK. I have written a western novel, that links Victorian London, with the Wild West of Wyoming, called 'PARTHENA'. Available on Amazon Kindle. I have had some sales and some good reviews. Do you have any suggestions on how I can promote this without too many costs? Recently retired. I have also recently updated my profile page on Goodreads.

What are you currently working on?
James L. Rickard I'm working on a SF tale, The Windmill Portal which includes the 1897 Aurora, TX UFO incident. The tale features my ongoing character, Charlie Hobbs who witnesses a "flying craft" in 1928 Ohio and travels to Texas to link the two but, in the meantime, he's reunited with a love from his past and discovers a son from that union.

How do you get inspired to write?
James L. Rickard I began writing when I was in second or third grade. Mostly because I didn't like the way TV programs I liked didn't end the way I thought they should so I would write a different story. Oddly enough, I still don't know a darned thing about screenwriting.
