Create a relationship with whatever it is you want to write. Close your eyes and picture your book as an actual person. Become friends with it. And then, be its vessel.

I call writer's block - fear. There's usually something I don't want to deal with, see, admit, talk about or address going on in my life and it's preventing me from doing anything. I have to stop, do something else, look at what I've been avoiding and deal with it before anything else creative comes up!
