Ahh thank you!! I don't know if a sequel is in the cards, but I'd never say absolutely no. I think for Doe and Wells and the Weston girls, that story is done. They are off to college! But Weston/Winfield might have a few more stories to tell. :)

Unfortunately I think Wells and Doe's story is complete. But maybe one day, if I'm struck with inspiration, I'll do a little bonus scene! I never like to close a door completely!

I’d love to see them cameo in a future book, as we know the Markum-verse is interconnected!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I'd never say never to writing more books set in this little world! I loved writing these characters, and TMEB was so fun to write. So if anyone from their corner of the universe has another story to tell, I would not deny them! As for just writing books like it, I think all of my books have and will have some version of TMEB in them - messy girls especially.

Honestly, it could have been an incredible duology or something. I just loved being transported to the world of Winfield and Weston!

I stare at the walls and groan loudly until something comes to me. Seriously, you know how people say "if these walls could talk"? Mine would just be saying, "What is she staring at.... Oh god, it's me again."

I want to say Holly Black's Faerie but the answer of what I'd do? Probably die. Probably eat something I shouldn't and die. Probably make a deal I shouldn't and die. Probably fall in love with someone immediately and then. You know. Die. Like Destiny's Child famously did NOT say: I'm not a survivor.

My TBR is so long, it's starting to look like a CVS receipt, but I have three books lined up for this summer that I absolutely am holding myself accountable to read: THE SOULMATE EQUATION by Christina Lauren, THE BOX IN THE WOODS by Maureen Johnson, and WE CAN'T KEEP MEETING LIKE THIS by Rachel Lynn Solomon. Whatever I read in between these, your guess is as good as mine. In fact, your guess might be better than mine.
