One day, I wrote a two-sentence horror story. It was so bad, nobody ever read my novels.

I would like to go to the Palestinian hillsides of the Middle Ages described in "The Boy of the Lost Crusades." The sunshine, the beloved sheep, the shepherds, olive pickers, innocence of children and the golden sunshine dressing the land...I have been imagining it on nights I work too late and can't fall asleep.
