Next question: How did I decide that I wanted to be an author?

I've always been a writer, and when I started brainstorming for what became The Exiled Trilogy, I knew I'd hit on a story that I wanted to try to get published. It took YEARS to get to where I am though. Becoming an author requires a lot of self-discipline alongside imagination. I wouldn't trade it for any other job though!
