I'm working on a sci-fi novel with psychological thriller aspects. It is rather dark, but much of my work is, and if you enjoyed Isaac's Blessing, and are also an adult, then I believe this story will be even more entertaining.

I like to go for a long walk and clear my mind. It's usually a result of judging too harshly, and clearing the mind helps with that. Otherwise, I'll switch projects, giving the time and space that that certain piece needs.

A lot of my favorite books have worlds that I don't necessarily want to visit. I'd probably go to Whoville because it seems like a lot of fun there, and a lot of love. Or somewhere inside a Disney movie. Maybe the Star Wars universe, where I can be a Jedi.

Considering it's past summer, I'll just answer which books I want to read. The last Game of Thrones book is still on my list, and I want to get that read before (if) he releases the next one. I also want to finish the Name of the Wind series by Pat Rothfuss because the prose in that is phenomenal.

I appreciate origin stories, and it kind of bothers me that I don't know exactly where I'm from or how my ancestors came to end up in North America. It would be cool to have some fantastical element inside that backstory, and finding out more about that element could be a fun mystery to solve.
