Sara Loggin Just write. Don't worry about the editing until you're done. If you stop to edit, you won't finish the novel. So write, even if it's crap. You can edit crap, but you can't edit a blank page.
Sara Loggin I am currently working on several fiction novels, one being a young adult fantasy/fiction that is a coming-of-age story, and has a lot of trials to overcome. I am also working on a poetry collection, and several other fiction/fantasy novels.
Sara Loggin Honestly, it depends on what I'm writing. I have tons of started novels whose ideas came from things I read online, or something I saw that just struck me as, "I need to write this."
Sara Loggin Collateral Damage is considered a work of fiction, though does have many details from my own life and experiences. I was sitting at work wondering "what if," and when I sat down to my laptop, the book wrote itself. The details that aren't from my life are often relatable to someone else who has been in an abusive relationship.
