Ignore all the "advice." (Write what you know, avoid adjectives, use a mood board, plot out your story, cut word count, avoid em-dashes and traditional punctuation because of AI, etc.) There's so much advice and most of it is junk.
Write your story. Write what you want to read. Write for yourself. If someone wants to come along and share the adventure, then that's amazing and very special. But first and foremost, it should be for you.

I'm an escapist, and there is nothing better for escaping than a world that you're creating from scratch! Also, connecting with readers about something you've built is pretty special.

I have found when I get writer's block it's because of two things; one, I've written myself into a corner, and two, the part I've just written doesn't fit with the feel, plot, or some other thing my subconscious has picked up.
Both problems have one solution for me. Delete. I go back to where I started having trouble and I delete it or save it for later. This has worked for me time and time again.

Listen to your heart! There's a lot of bad advice out there as how you should write or create your story. But ultimately, you know your story best, so follow your vision.
Also, do your research and go slow. Publishing is a slow process when done correctly, but so, so worth it to see those faces light up!
