I had always toyed with the idea of writing a book but I always thought it would be poetry or a story of my childhood. Then one day a thought hit me about a science fiction idea and it took off from there. If I were to give any advice, it would be to just start, pick up the pen or get on the computer. The hardest part is starting.

I currently switch back and forth between the second book in the series, The Path Through Time, and a new novel I am working on to center on what it is like to be a female in the military.

The idea from this book actually came from two major places. A hiking spot that passes through a huge observatory and is the perfect setting for a science-fiction movie. The other would be Elon Musk. He has an incredible mind and a intense vision, and he is not ashamed of anything he has gone through to get to where he is now.
