Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Deborah Robinson It was inspired by a true story, but is fiction. It is my story. It is a work of love, hate and final redemption.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Deborah Robinson Just do it! Don't be afraid to put your foot into the water, you will never know what you have to say until you put it down on paper. It might just be badass good!

What are you currently working on?
Deborah Robinson A new idea about a novel, set in the low country of South Carolina, where 4 old friends, who had been best friends in Atlanta meet up after the pandemic is over. Much has changed and it will change each of their lives forever.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Deborah Robinson I take a little time off and spend some time in my gardens or playing with my dogs. Sometimes it just takes a a Starbucks break with a good friend, and then I go back with some new, fresh ideas.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Deborah Robinson The Orchid Thief by Susan Orlean
I would go on an orchid hunt.
