My go-to is to read, especially if it's of a similar genre to what I'm working on. Much of my inspiration comes from TV and film. The way things look, the shots used, color and lighting--I want to express that in my stories, it helps me with the details I choose to include. If nothing else works, I search for interviews with my favorite authors, which seems to spark the proper motivation.
