I think there are always words in my head, that string together in a certain way, but that’s not enough to need to get them on paper. If I observe something significant, something moving, something that I have to digest slowly, then that will mix with the words in my head until I have to get pen to paper, whether i know where I’m going with that... or not!

Kind of, but...It’s more that Mum (Clare Morrall) brought me up to write.... long before she was successful. Writing was what we did. She tells me she always knew I would be a poet... but hey, she is my Mum...
