With this book it was constantly reading or hearing things- bits and pieces of Black history that I had never heard before. I decided that if I didn't know...then there are others that don't know either. That was my inspiration.

My advice is to write something daily. Even if it's just a line in a journal. It helps me to avoid writer's block.

For me, the best thing is reading the finished product and hearing what others have to say once they've read it. I feel like a kid when someone else loves the book, too.

I'm actually working on my next book. I'd like to keep it under wraps for now. But I can't wait to see what your thoughts are when I release it! -G

Writer's block is like having a migraine that just lingers. The way I dealt with it was to write something every day. Even if it wasn't a line in the book. I am an online content writer as well as a ghostwriter. Having to write something daily helped me come through my block. -G

I'm a fan of history but especially Black history. I run across information all the time that I didn't know. I felt like if I didn't know then there are others that don't know either. That is what fueled my passion to start writing this book. There will be a 2nd volume to the book, as well. -G
