Just do it. My work is far from perfect, but I feel like I have stories to share. I hope to get better with each story. Most importantly, I hope to encourage people along their life journeys. If you have something to say, if you have a story to share, pray about it, do your best and get it out there. Find support even if it is in online groups. Just start with your first sentence, and then the next one. Do it afraid, apprehensive, and unashamed. Whatever it is was placed on your heart or in your head for a reason. So go ahead, give it a shot. At least you can say you tried, be proud of your effort and give it all you got. You are able and I believe in you. You got this!

"Then She Lived, Even After," was inspired by women I have met. I find many of us deal with shame, regret, and other forms of trauma. I want people to find hope and light in themselves regardless of what they have been through. I find we are often shamed for our decisions and we don't need to be. I want people to feel the peace of what it means to live freely. There is no condemnation in Christ and we must strive to find peace within ourselves. I think trauma of all types can haunt us and it affects every area of our life. However, by focusing on next steps, by getting in community with people who are for us and speak life into us, we can still shine bright, we can get through any type of pain, we can move forward and yes, we can live again.

The best thing about being a writer is being able to transport people to other places and life situations. I enjoy being able to give my readers an emotional experience inviting them into stories that hopefully evoke emotion and eventually encourage them.

By people. I love people and learning about their journeys through life. I enjoy meeting with people, encouraging them and learning about culture, family and beliefs. My inspiration for writing is simply to encourage people regardless of their personal life experiences to embrace each moment of their life's journey.
