Freaking Forktados is inspired by twelve years working in a grocery store bakeshop, and a love for paranormal television! When I was planning for National Novel Writing Month 2012, I was considering writing about my bakeshop experiences, but couldn't come up with any kind of plot line, and was concerned about writing about coworkers...there's a LOT of drama in the grocery store. I happened to be watching a marathon of Ghost Hunters, and I thought, "I'll make it a mash up of ghost hunting and bakeshop!" and viola, Bakeshop Paranormal was born.
