Having a great story idea. As the plot develops in my mind, I have to get it out. In order to do that, I have to type and write. I love intelligent entertainment, so I try to write in a way that is easy to read, fun and has surprises popping up where you do not expect a change.

Start with Novellas. Shorter stories are easier to learn from. I started with 5 novellas that made up a full novel. Each novella taught me something new. Just do it.
