Write through it. It doesn't have to be crystalline prose, just get something onto the page. Sometimes re-reading the last ten pages I wrote can jumpstart me. And when that fails, I take the dog for a walk.

Read -- widely and across genres. Read non-fiction, and poetry, history and memoir. Experience life: travel, listen to people, try new experiences. Find like-minded should who are serious about writing. Don't be too critical of your work. The writing will get better and deepen the more you do it and the older you get.
