Early in my career I was delivering a yacht from Fiji to Tahiti when I had a kernel of an idea for a novel series. The uniqueness of the yacht industry ( working for the world’s most rich and powerful) coupled with absolutely amazing locations seemed like a great setting for novels. Every location in the John Otter novel series I will have personally been to, which I think adds authenticity to my novels.
