An error occurred while sorting questions for author Nadine Little.
The Coursera course, how come it's laying traps now? No feedback, no new authors to get your five (for their grades!), a quiz at the end, table reads, the list goes on. I have a novel set in concrete: it just needs to conform more to standard chapter length, have better dialogue, and not look amateurish. I just read Damien Larkin's novel Big Red which got 90 percent on Good Reads and I said bla bla yes but hated it.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Nadine Little I read, watch a good movie or go for a walk. I try not to punish myself or feel guilty for not writing. Sometimes, I'll just force myself to sit at my computer and write something, even if it's only a hundred words.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Nadine Little The places your imagination can take you! This is particularly noticeable in 2020, the year of nightmares. It doesn't matter if I'm stuck in lockdown or can't travel abroad. One day, I can be on an alien planet and the next, I can be running through a dystopian Scotland (which is what my first book is about. A dystopian Scotland, not me running).

What are you currently working on?
Nadine Little I'm 50,000 words into writing my sixth book, which is the second book in a series about people who can shapeshift into dragons and the normal humans hunting them. This book is from the POV of a shapeshifter from a powerful family. The first book was from the POV of a hunter.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Nadine Little Dreams! Pretty much all of my ideas come from dreams.

(I may have weird dreams).
