It was September last year when I went through a period of reflection in my life and realised that I wanted to write stories. Middle - grade was the natural genre for me to write as it was something my kids could enjoy and give me instant feedback on. I have no plans to write for other age ranges yet but I have another couple of middle - grade books planned first. After that who knows...

I make writing my priority. I get up at 5:00 am spend ten minutes meditating and then I'm straight into it while I'm fresh and at my best mentally. I've made writing a habit and one that I love and with that comes my inspiration.

Taking yourself away into an imaginary world and being completely consumed by it. You make the rules and you decide what happens, the sky is the limit!

I get up, walk away from my laptop and get out into the fresh air. I go for a nice long walk and clear my mind of anything to do with my writing. When I've finished my walk I'm ready to dive back into my story telling world.

Make writing a habit, something you do every day. It's so daunting thinking you have thousands and thousands of words to get down on the page but if you can write 1000 words every day and enjoy doing it then you've written 365,000 words in a year. That's the equivalent of four decent sized books you've managed to write without killing yourself doing it.

Hey thanks so much for letting me know. I'd added the whole Twitter name and not just my Twitter handle. It's all sorted now so anyone can ask me a question now if they desire. Thanks so much again!

I'm currently working on The Super Twins sequel which I'm hoping to release early 2021. It's going to be bigger, better and more hilarious. There will be twists, turns and some brand new characters introduced. I'm loving writing this one and I'm sure you're going to love reading it.

The original inspiration came from my identical twin boys Luke and Liam; over time the idea developed into The Super Twins. Other than the the pair being identical in looks that's where the comparisons end. Besides, if the boys thought that the Super Twins represented them they would fight over who was who!
