Jorge Arenas The world of Altered Carbon. Though the way people use their bodies can be off putting to an observer in this time period, the idea that I could easily just change my physical form like clothes is beyond intriguing. I'd love to do so.
Jorge Arenas Rereading Dune and Starship Troopers. Those two are always on the summer list. Afterwards I'd love to start with The Hobbit and the final Witcher book before Fall.
Jorge Arenas The cherry of the cigarette burned brightly in the darkroom, as she attempted to calm her nerves while searching for an exit. Its illumination acted as a signal for the creatures following her to the outside world.
Jorge Arenas I was born allergic to my mother's milk!
Jorge Arenas Wine, anger, and just writing. Even if the story doesn't sense, or you don't like it; I found that writing overall gets the gears moving in the brain. Just waiting for "inspiration" to hit, for me at least, I have found to be a major time waster.
Jorge Arenas It's fun to see people's reaction to the stories I write.
Jorge Arenas Don't wait and just try it out. So long as you have a job and are able to pay your bills, don't be scared to experiment. Just make time and balance writing with life.
Jorge Arenas I am working on my second novel "A Blanket of Darkness" as well as promoting a horror anthology "Curse of the Hallow Moon" which has my short story "Whispers in the Children's Room".
Jorge Arenas Dreams. They've been the main source of inspiration as a writer. As you can see that since I normally write horror, it shows what kind of dreams I'm normally having.
