I take inspiration from almost anything and anybody. I live in Himalayas and the scenic beauty here Inspires me to write about anything. One day, I wrote about a place, then other day, I've wrote about the mountains. I write about the people I meet and the incidents that have occurred with people.

It was a difficult time for me. Deciding to write a novel was easy but executing it was the phase which took over 5 years. I had phases when I wanted to give up. I used to doubt if this story will ever be completed or not, but then, my mind used to go back to the starting point and the idea why I started. I just used to revisit those 3 lines, and this has what kept me motivated.
I started writing as a part of my hobby but now that it is getting recognition, I may say that it is not just an hobby but turns out to be my passion. Other than this, I love travelling. As a banker, I have a transferable job so I got chances to visit various places and meet people. I really like to explore new places and people as they have their own stories. That is how I deal with writer's block. I go to places and meet people.

The most painful and sensitive wounds are the unsaid words. You know you have a story. You know you have something worth telling the world. Yet, you choose to remain silent just because you do not want to take a step towards exploring your ability to tell a story. This feeling of suffocation glued to me for around 3 years after I've graduated from my college.
You get to know a person who has it all perfectly fine in his or her life, then one fine evening, everything turns upside down. The person’s life just gets almost destroyed. And you can do nothing but wait for the things to get back to normal. You can choose to forget that anything has happened. Or, you can choose to write. I chose to write. I think this is the best thing about being a writer. You create things which otherwise do not exist.

To budding writers, I would say just be consistent with whatever you want to write. Take a little amount of time daily to improve your writing skills. Be honest to yourself, work on the things that, you feel, need improvement. And, just start writing whatever you have in mind. It may not look simple to you, but when you do little efforts continuously,

I have not planned anything yet, as I am a kind of person who just wants to focus in the present. I do have another idea in my mind but I can’t say how long it will take. My next WIP is somewhat a romance novel.

Sunset by the River is a book that I never thought will become a story that has all elements ranging from Romance to mystery and even some thrill. I started writing something about an incident that affected a person related to my friend. I wanted to share the tragedy they have been through. I started with a plot, which took shape bit by bit and step by step, to evolve into something you will read as "Sunset by the River".
