Dean Cornwall I don't find inspiration a problem. My problem is, I have new ideas that seem much prettier than whatever I'm currently working on, and in the past that's led to a lot of unfinished stories. But now I'm determined to finish what I start.
Dean Cornwall Write. Don't let that editor at the back of your mind tell you what you're writing isn't good enough. I did, and it led to years of not publishing anything because it "wasn't good enough". First drafts are going to change later. That's a fact. If you don't know how to write a bit in the first draft, just write what you can and leave the rest in note form - your second draft brain will figure it out.
Dean Cornwall I'm writing a vampire story, with the aim of having it ready to publish in time for Halloween. Although I'm not going to give much away at the moment, what I will say is I've been a bit of a fan of vampires for a long time (we're talking back to my childhood) so although my vampire hero is "good" aligned, he's still a vampire, with all that entails - including blood drinking.
