Which of your two (so far) books would you want to be turned into a movie?
Mary Beesley Ah! How can I choose between the two? I want to watch them both as movies. But if forced to pick, I think Dragon Blood would be the one I'd choose first because of the action and cool Draco Sang characters that I'd love to see on screen.

I'm writing a fictional book, between school and my book club it's hard to keep up. I've realized I need to rewrite the first chapter and I can't find the time. What's your writing schedule? Do you have any useful tips you can share?
Mary Beesley I have a busy life too, and I get it. I have to schedule writing time into my weekly calendar to make sure I get my words in. I write when my kids are in school, but if they are home, it gets trickier! I have a hard time writing well at night when I'm tired, but there have been many days when the only time I had was before the rest of my people woke up. It's not my favorite, but if 5 am is the only time, then I get up and write.

What keeps you motivated as an author?
Mary Beesley I am self-disciplined in that I schedule writing time in my week. That gets me the chair time, but the real motivation comes because I love to write. It is the thing that satisfies the craving of my soul.
