That was tough. I could have told a lot of stories about my work in ICU, but as you can imagine, some of them did not have happy endings. I focused on those that imparted biblical truth while demonstrating the hope we have in Jesus. A lot of prayer went into my selection!

Great question! While my book is not about COVID-19, the fear we've experienced reminded me of a Legionnaire's Disease outbreak at the hospital where I worked. I tell about it in "Panic or Peace" and urge readers to remember only God can protect our hearts and minds from the enemy who wants to keep us in a state of fear and panic. Only God can provide perfect peace no matter what our circumstances.

I don't have to worry about writer's block. I have so many ideas, I can't possibly write them all in my lifetime! If I get stuck on something, I just move onto something else until the solution comes to me.

An agent I met at a conference suggested I write a devotional book since I had published so many individual devotions. I naturally returned to my roots as an ICU nurse and caregiver and wrote about God's miraculous lifesaving power.
