Just write. Learn your voice, perfect your style, get your stories out. They don't have to be beautiful masterpieces—to be quite frank I'm fairly sure most author's first drafts are pretty far from masterpieces—but you cannot polish words that are not there. So, no matter what, just write.

I find inspiration everywhere. Life is quirky, and chaotic, and unpredictable. I've found if you slow down enough to watch it, you can see the beauty in the storm, but also find the perfect periods of ridiculousness that are the perfect droplets of inspiration for wonderful stories.
