I love your books, they have brought so many smiles and laughs! I was wondering if you were still planning on writing the last two books of the "Rogue Heart Series"? I have read the first four books like 5 times! i'm a huge fan. I also have another question, what source do you use to find out about this era?
Donna Hatch Sorry for the long delay. I didn't see your question until now. The answer is Yes, I'm currently working on the rough draft of Margaret's story. Once I finish hers, I'll start on Rachel's. I hope you like them. Thanks so much for contacting me!

I'm loving the Amesbury's -- I have just finished book 3 and am starting book 4 (by the way -- I hate that 3 & 4 aren't available in Whispersync on Amazon). Now, I'm wondering what is next - Margaret and Rachel? I saw an earlier question/answer where you were working on Margaret's story with a publication date in early 2017 -- any specific date yet? I'm not nearly as invested with Margaret as I am with Rachel.

Donna Hatch Hi Christie! Sorry for the slow response. I am still stumbling around trying to learn all about Goodreads. I'm so glad you love the Amesbury family "Rogue Hearts Series." I am currently working on the rough draft of book 5 which is Margaret's story, not yet titled. I hope to have a release date of early 2017. How do you deal with writer’s block?
Donna Hatch I don't get writer's block very often. But when I can't write, it's either because I'm burned out or I start listening to the evil voices in my head who scream louder than my muse, voices who say that I can't write, or this book is going to be a failure, and other negative things. When burnout happens, I take a break, read some good books and/or watch some movies. If I start to doubt myself, I ask a writer friend or critique partner to take a quick look at the rough draft to let me know if she thinks it has any promise. Occassionally I get stuck. When that happens, I brainstorm with a friend about what should come next. Usually I try to save everyone too soon and don't have enough conflict. Thinking about what is the worst that could happen, and then having that happen, is a great way to get going again.

What are you currently working on?
Donna Hatch I'm always juggling more than one project. Right now I'm rough drafting book 4 of the Rogue Hearts Series. It's as yet untitled but it will be about Grant, the dark brother from the first three books and the breath of sunshine who will bring him to his knees. Literally. I'm also doing what I hope will be final edits on the first book of a new series.
