Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Blaze Dzikowski When I was little, there was an old cartoon on TV for very young children. A kitten discovered the world in a traditional Polish village. Everything the kitten discovered had some kind of spirit, fire was this dancing red guy, water was a group of running and laughing plump blue men and so on. I could never forget it for some reason.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Blaze Dzikowski I don't do anything else before I hit the word count for that day, barring necessary things like driving kids to school etc. No diversions.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Blaze Dzikowski I'd like to go to Los Maines, the city from my series Hidden Empires. I created this place from fragments of my dreams, which take place in a city like that. Haunting for good and bad.
